The Lobster Yacht
The Lobster Yacht is called that because our hulls are of the Maine Lobsterboat design. Maine Lobsterboats have evolved through the years and are by design built for the rough weather, choppy seas and rock bound coast of Maine. These boats have the full keel with the skeg straight back to the rudder to protect the prop because of the Granite ledges found on our coast, there are no sand bars in this local. We have big tides and windy springs and falls, to say nothing of our winters, this makes for very choppy seas. These hulls have been proven in this environment for years and provide a safe comfortable ride.

Our Lobster Yachts are built with all molded components and have a smooth molded finish throughout the living spaces. We offer oiled teak or varnished mahogany as our standard wood trim finishes. The boat shown in these pictures has the varnished mahogany interior finish. It was equipped with Air Conditioning, a 5kw Diesel Generator, Refrigerator, Microwave, Electric counter top stove, an acoustic headliner and heavy sound insulation to name just a few of the options. The boat featured on this page is being used in the Bahamas.

The helm station console swings down to allow easy access to the instruments mounted in it. We use high density 4” foam in our bunk cushion and they are very comfortable. We install louvered panel doors in the forward rope locker, the hanging locker, and the bottom half of the head doors. A big upgrade in the Lobster Yacht is that it uses a diamond no-skid on the all of the deck surfaces. This is much better looking, easier to clean, and afford really good traction.
